Luis Félix Parodi was born in Cádiz in 1961. He studied piano with Rafael Prieto at the "Manuel de Falla" Conservatory of Cádiz and in Conservatory of Seville with Ramón Coll and Ana María Guijarro.
Perform improvement courses in the piano specialty with V. Perlemuter, R. Coll, J. Colom and J. Achúcarro; of musical analysis with J. Chailley and B. Mahedero; and composition with J. L. Turina.
Attends the "Master Classes" that Cristóbal Halffter teaches (about "The random in music") and Antoni Ros Marbà (on "Orchestra Direction") in the "National Auditorium of Madrid" organized by the "National Institute of Performing Arts and music from the Ministry of Culture ".
He acts as a pianist in various concerts either as a soloist or as a companion, interpreting both works of the classic repertoire, as well as modern composers, premiering and disseminating some of colleagues and their own. In Radio Nacional de España he performs a monograph of works of his creation: "Metamorfosis" and "Añoranzas nocturnas".
From 1985 to 1989 he is dedicated to teaching in the music classrooms of Écija (piano), Osuna and Herrera (solfeo and piano), and in the Professional Conservatories of Cáceres (Harmony and Accompanied Melody) and in the "Manuel de Falla" of Cádiz (Musical Forms), premiering in the latter his work "Metamorfosis, seven piano pieces, Op. 7".
In 1991 the jury of the Composition Contest organized by the Excellency Athenaeum of Seville within the "Andalusian Contest of Fine Arts" unanimously granted the "Special Mention" for his work "Twelve piano pieces, op. 15".
Between 1992 and 1997 he studied "Composition" with Günter Pistorius, "Orchestra Direction" with Ulrich Weder and "Piano" with Robert Regös in the "Richard-Strauss-Konservatorium" of Munich. The city of Munich, at the proposal of the "Richard-Strauss-Konservatorium", gives him the "1994 Richard-Strauss Scholarship for composers and talent directors". In the "Gasteig" Cultural Center of Munich he premieres his works: "Vier Lieder Nach Gedichten von Heinrich Heine, op. 24" and "Klaviersonate, op. 30", and also directs, among other works, the "Concerto Per Clavicembalo" of Manuel de Falla. At the same time, it provides services as Organist and Director of Choir in the "Spanish Catholic Mission" of Munich.
In their catalog of works there are 101 creations belonging to pianistic genres, chamber music and symphony orchestra. He is in possession of the higher titles corresponding to the specialties of "Solfeo, Theory of music, Transposition and Accompaniment", "Piano" and "Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition and Instrumentation". It is also "Entitled in Composition" by the "Richard Strauss Konservatorium" by Munich.
From 2000 to 2011 he exercised as "Autonomous Professor."
In 2004 he was appointed honor partner of “Juventudes Musicales”.
