NAVIGATION INSTRUCCIONS

SOME ILLUSTRATIVE ORIENTATIONS REGARDING THE NAVIGATION ON THE WEBSITE OF THIS ENCYCLOPEDIA.

1. Menu: “Op./Vol.”

The link:

https://mipianotecnicaenciclopediaingles.blogspot.com/p/opvol.html

takes us to the menu “Op./Vol.” of this encyclopedia.

In its content, all the volumes of the encyclopedia composed so far appear by the number of opus. Opus number should not be confused with the volume number. To avoid this, the opus number appears first and then the corresponding volume number dedicated to that work, followed by the title assigned to it.

They also appear the link to the PDF, which allows to visualize and/or download the score, as well as the place and year of composition.

I take the opportunity to say that the composition of the encyclopedia does not obey a previous plan: neither theme or structurally. In fact, when I made the first volume, I did not know that I had just started composing an encyclopedia. I had the perception of encyclopedia once I composed volume 20 as very soon. From then on I began to acquire awareness that so far, that I knew, an encyclopedia for pianists had not been composed that would only and exclusively summarize the problems of any level treated thoroughly, in all its extension and explore the largest number of possibilities, those who have to face pianists. There were basically works and studies, as well as collections of scales and arpegios that had been treated by some counted composers. But there was no place where all the necessary and essential that must form the basis of piano writing were gathered at once.

It should not be deduced that the volumes are ordered from lower to greater difficulty. Not even that within each volume the subject treated in the first chapters is simpler than the last one. Nor that once a volume has begun to be studied, you have to study it until the end, because in some of them the size of the hands is at stake, and we must expect nature to also do what corresponds to it. It should not anticipate what time, maturity and assimilation will achieve for themselves.

I hope to be counting little by little in what way I have tried to supply the absence of the previous plan of the work. I do not want anyone to feel discouraged at the size and apparent disorder of the exposed material. Nor that this will lead you to give previously my demanding proposal, which is ultimately reduced to sharing with all of you what I will not be able to take, and with what I have enjoyed so many hours of my life.

2. Menu: “VOLUME TITLES”

The link:

https://mipianotecnicaenciclopediaingles.blogspot.com/p/volumes-titles.html

takes us to a page on which all volumes are alphabetically ordered by title. In turn, each title makes a suggestion to the content, from which it has derived. The suffix -logía refers to the science he aspires to become.

3. Menu: “INTEGRATED SERIES”

https://mipianotecnicaenciclopediaingles.blogspot.com/p/integral-series.html

This encyclopedia exposes some basic issues that should be part of the fundamental formation of every pianist. These basic issues are represented by the series shown in this menu, including in each of them the volumes in which they are treated.

Keep in mind that not all volumes belong to one of the series mentioned here. The issues that such volumes raise are no less important because they do not belong to any of the series, but must also be part of the basic formation of the pianist. These volumes appear at the end of this relationship.

In the integral formation of the pianist, so that it is balanced, each of the general issues of study that arise here must be present. It is preferable that the level in each and every one of them be homogeneous, trying to insist on those in which more precariousness is shown.

4. Menu: “SUBJECT INDEX”

In case the indices mentioned in the previous publications were not enough, in this SUBJET INDEX the terms that refer to the matters of which it are in the encyclopedia appear alphabetically. Simply click on the link below them, to be directed to the corresponding volume.
